EMDR – Processing What Still Echoes
Some experiences stay with us for a long time – even if they happened years ago. They may show up unexpectedly, in the form of distressing thoughts, emotions, or physical sensations that seem to come “out of nowhere.”
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a method that can help process such experiences and bring inner relief.
During an EMDR session, I will guide you in gently focusing on a distressing memory. Using specific eye movements or other forms of rhythmic stimulation, the brain is supported in reprocessing the experience – allowing it to be integrated in a new way.
Many people describe a shift:
The memory remains, but its intensity fades – and new perspectives become possible.
EMDR can help you feel more internally free, better regulate difficult emotions, and begin to leave behind the weight of painful experiences.
